Lord Zaximus and The Novoran Legion
Alpha Primaris was in ruins. The once gleaming crystalline blue on the planet’s surface had been shattered, scorched and reshaped after years of relentless war. The combined efforts of dozens of Galaxxors, the Zyldrani Seers, numerous Xaturnas and an ancient digital network known as The Odin had succeeded in systematically eradicating Gorgax’s forces from the once sacred planet. As the forces closed in upon Capital City, they witnessed Gorgax’s flagship The Onyx take off in retreat. All that was left to do was concentrate their efforts upon Capital City, install The Odin into the now empty throne room of The Space Gods, and then the rebuilding could begin. But it wouldn’t be easy.
Incendizcer-1, the Zyldrani Seer, stood next to Galaxxor Nybirulon. They watched as hundreds of the blue and green Wraithdroids of The Novoran Legion assumed a defensive formation around the city’s perimeter. Incendizcer-1 spoke, “Gorgax has fled like the coward that he truly is, but he has left his most lethal force to eliminate as many of us as possible while we retake the capital. You see, Jakim, Lord Zaximus is not at all like his Cyborg Space Barbarian brethren. He was once a gladiator upon his homeworld and, with his own wit and charisma, led an uprising. Zaximus is a genius tactician and his troops follow his orders with an unwavering loyalty. Where most of Gorgax’s Barbarians are simply brutal berserkers, Zaximus is cold and calculating. This will not be an easy battle. Most of us will not survive.”
A gleaming avatar of The Odin appeared before the forces of order, made a brief gesture of blessing, and then turned around to look towards the capitol. Without hesitation, the avatar began to walk directly towards the ranks of Wraithdroids that stood in formation at the other end of the clearing. Incendiczer-1 raised his giant fist skywards, turned to look over the gathered warriors, and then gestured onwards. Without fear, the gathered force began to march forwards behind The Odin, towards what would undoubtedly for many of them be their final battle.
I’m extremely excited to announce my first drop of 2023 with tonight’s offerings! Focusing upon Gorgax’s most elite and lethal force, Lord Zaximus and The Novoran Legion, this drop will consist of two 5.5” articulated Glyos System compatible limited edition production vinyl figures. Both Lord Zaximus/Galaxxor Valentia and the Novoran Wraithdroid/Novoran Cyborg Space Barbarian come with two different heads for both character/display options.
