Rumble in the Jungle

Intercepted transmission from the Terrestrial Defense Administration of the planet Schwartzwald-

In the eight lunar cycles since the unidentified pyramidal structure appeared in the skies above Schwarzwald, our jungles have become infested with foul, twisted monstrosities of a nature most unnatural. Numerous civilian settlements have since gone disturbingly silent and even the military facilities of Contra-87 were overrun by the beasts, leaving us to forfeit the structures, entirely.

Despite the combined efforts of our organization and the local militia, this had seemed to have been a losing battle. With each passing day, our ability to maintain order upon Schwarzwald slipped further from our grasp. The already treacherous jungle regions, which, as we know, covers 87% of our surface had become beyond our ability to defend.

However, at the beginning of the last lunar cycle, we began to receive reports of a startling nature. It is our understanding that the foul creatures that have claimed our planet are being systematically eliminated by two warriors, operating independently of our organization. One of them has been identified as a Galaxxor unit and the other is a mysterious Traveler who goes by the name RULDENAR…
